Sustainable & Resilient Communities

Helping communities solve for the challenges of today and the needs of tomorrow.

As a community leader, the well-being of your community comes first. But as you are challenged to use financial, environmental, and physical resources responsibly, changes in funding, energy efficiency requirements, and environmental sustainability goals can make it difficult to keep up. That's where we come in. We partner with you to help improve your communities' vitality by building inherently healthy, resilient, prosperous, and sustainable communities.

Build Confidence, Resilience, and Sustainability

Community is cultivated inside the buildings where people work, learn, live and play with one another, and protecting these environments to connect and support the quality of life for our people has never been more critical.

Community can be an individual space or a collection of municipal, education, healthcare, mixed-use, recreational, and commercial spaces.

From offering healthy, comfortable civic environments where people work and play, to providing reliable shelter and support in times of critical need, every building plays a role in protecting the constituents it serves.

Trane takes a holistic approach with a multi-disciplinary collective of experts using world-class technologies and services to improve the vitality of our communities so it can be a place where people thrive now, and for years to come.

Maximizing stimulus & savings investments

Meet your community's long-term infrastructure resiliency, efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and local economic recovery goals – through stimulus investments and energy savings. From costly, overdue capital investments, to mounting competing priorities, we understand how difficult it is to balance a community’s financial, operational, and social goals. Investing in infrastructure modernizations to improve facility comfort, efficiency and resiliency helps meet these goals. We’ll show you how.

Accelerate change with an integrated approach

Our holistic approach to energy performance means we see opportunities for improvement everywhere: in government buildings, wastewater management plants, data centers, and in community centers.

Leveraging Connected Building technologies delivers ongoing results, driving efficiencies, giving you control and preparing you for the future.

Modernize with no capital investment required

Move forward with projects simpler and faster. Trane Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) are a proven financial tool that provide a budget-neutral path to energy resilience and facility upgrades. With no capital investment required, upgrading inefficient HVAC systems, building controls and modernizing aging building infrastructure is paid for with future energy cost savings – savings that are guaranteed by Trane.

Communities Are Defined by What Is Most Important to Us

A community is a familiar thread uniting our values to something greater than ourselves.

We find community in our families, our friends, our businesses, our neighborhoods, and our cities. Community can be found in the ways we experience joy, uplift those in need, the schools we attend, and the causes we champion.

At Trane, we are committed to building inherently inclusive, resilient, prosperous, and sustainable communities.

Our goal was to get the chiller down to 10 percent capacity; we watched them get it down to 5 percent. We were able to buy fewer chillers with more tonnage. It was more efficient, less costly, and we now have open space for storage or to rent.
